Private Piano/Voice Lessons

In private lessons, students will receive one-on-one instruction in their instrument, technique, theory, sight-reading, and more. Younger students will focus on learning music more generally with an emphasis on their instrument. All students will have the opportunity to learn music that they enjoy beyond the method books we use in class, such as Disney, popular music, hymns, and movie themes. Students will play games, improvise, and have fun in lessons as they learn musical concepts!

Group Piano/Voice Classes

In group lessons, students will receive instruction in their instrument, technique, theory, sight-reading, and more. Group sizes may vary from 2-4 depending on instrument. In groups, students have the opportunity to both perform solo within the group or play and sing music together as an ensemble. Groups tend to help students stay motivated to practice and give students a social element in their music endeavors that often goes missing compared to other activities like sports and dance. Recitals and Opportunities

Recitals or other performance opportunities are typically free and will be held four to five times a year. Students are also encouraged to participate in Student Day, which is an evaluation program that students can achieve in both performance and theory knowledge.

All students are encouraged to perform in recitals and other performance opportunities. In lessons, we will work on strategies to help students overcome performance anxiety for students who struggle in this area.

Student Piano Accompaniment

I do some student accompanying when I have the time and availability. If you are or have a student needing piano accompaniment for a recital, competition, or audition, feel free to contact me through the website contact form, phone, or email for more information.

Please Note...

Piano students must have access to a piano (digital keyboards work too!) so that they can practice.

At I'mPossible, the impossible becomes possible. Fun, creative, and excellent--these are our goals as teacher, students, and parents. Let's work together to create an I'mPossible attitude!
